Ratify the Convention on the Rights of the Child

The Convention on the Rights of the Child is a treaty adopted by the UN to define the universal rights of the Child. A few of those rights include protection from exploitation, adequate health care and most importantly: clean food and water.
Although the U.S. played a key role in drafting this treaty, we are still one of the few countries left who have not ratified it.
President Obama said it himself, it is embarrassing that a power house country, a leader in the free world, has failed to ratify something so applicable to the American way of life. That is to mean, we take care of the defenseless.
