However, of all the 193 members of the United Nations, Somalia and the United States are yet to ratify the CRC. The United States, a country that prides itself as an advocate for democracy and human rights in the world is in the same category as Somalia, a former failed state.
The US should take lead,ratify the CRC and follow through.
