I am asking for laws, polices and procedures to be ratified. Right now the closed court system and laws in place have left room for abuse. We as a community should have comment, and say on polices that impacts us nationally. We need to stop this unnecessary "War on Drugs" and to stop treating people like criminals over mental health issues. Education and reform is the only positive option.
This impacts the community negatively. Putting honest good people in jail, taking children from their parents, exposing them to a dysfunctional system ethics, and financially burdening households. Taking money in a negative way and turning it into positive change is the only hope we have to save people. The system has done nothing but fuel a for profit business model. We demand change and to be heard.
