People sixteen years of age are mature and educated enough and care about their country and to make wise decisions when voting. Many would love to vote in the upcoming presidential election but are unable to because of the twenty-sixth amendment. Many would be more knowledgeable and educated voters than people that are already eligible to vote. Some countries already allow people sixteen years of age to vote, and the United States needs to follow suit. Sixteen year olds should be given the right to vote.
