This Nation was built on the idea that all are created equal. This Convention solidifies that belief. It has been two decades since the United States under President Bill Clinton signed the Convention. But we have not ratified it. Because of misunderstandings, we have put it aside. Ratifying this convention will help Children right here in America and will improve America's role as a champion for Children's rights.
