Re-affirm support of Net Neutrality by directing the FCC to ensure that all network traffic is treated equally.

Created by J.S. on April 23, 2014

Net Neutrality is a vital principle that allows the internet to function the way it does; free and open. It ensures that Internet Service Providers (ISPs) treat all network traffic equally. Without this provision, the free and open internet we know is not sustainable.

A rule has been proposed that allows ISPs to discriminate between websites that pay them and those that don't; an attack on Net Neutrality.

Please sign this petition to send a message to the administration that we believe that the actions taken by FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler seek to undermine Net Neutrality and provide a hand out to ISPs at the expense of ordinary internet users.

We expect the administration to stand by its past position of support for Net Neutrality and direct the FCC to reverse course in dismantling it.
