A section of The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, also know as Obamacare, is the Health and Human Services Mandate forcing religious institutions to violate their rights of conscience. Although parishes are exempt, all other church health insurers such as schools, universities, hospitals, and religious orders are not. The mandate forces church institutions to provide sterilization, contraceptives, and abortion-inducing drugs for their employees despite any religious convictions or prohibitions. Such forcible actions offend rights given to religious institutions and persons via the first amendment, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."
