The German Animal Welfare Act is basically preventing evil people from performing harm on household pets such as cats and dogs. It states that one must not abuse an animal and treat all animals as you would humans. (Human rights for animals.) I believe that this should sprout in America because so many stray cats and dogs are found dead on the street and others are beaten and tortured because some sick individual got a hold of one of these beautiful creatures. I can vouch for all of America when I say that nobody wants to be abandoned by the people who "loved" us and get run over by a car. Or be beaten and have other torture methods performed on us for simply living our lives. Please, just please end this inhumane act of abuse. Thank you for your time.
