The Obama Administration has decided to stop all tours of the White House which is the "People's House". These tours are led by volunteers and provide the visitor the opportunity to see the house that the populace of the USA has built for the leader of the free world. These tours are educational to citizens and visitors and provide revenue to many businesses throughout Washington, DC.
As citizens of this great Republic, we expect access to the White House. We also expect that any additional expenses for these tours be part of the budget. We expect the White House and our representatives to tighten their budgets in other areas. The "People's House" should never be locked to the people who pay for its existence.
