Re-evaluate and improve the American Education System, its structure, goals and funding.

The American Education System has been stagnate for too long and it is time for a face lift. Teachers need to be given the resources to educate their students, and that does NOT mean giving everyone an iPad. That means making sure the buildings are up-to-code, the text books are up-to-date and the classes are small in size. Students should be passed or failed based on their ability to demonstrate they have LEARNED something, not their ability to pass a test they have been trained to pass. Our "grade level" system needs to be reworked to allow students to advance in SUBJECTS rather than an overall grade, allowing students who excel to reach full potential and those who struggle to get the attention they need without the social stigma of being "held back" weighing them down.
