In recent years, the separation of church and state has not been taken seriously enough which has led to the segregation of the homosexual group by not giving them the same rights and liberties as the strait population. This issue is commonly known to be drawn largely across lines of religious debate, and those opposed to gay rights even go so far as to use biblical quotes to cement their position.
I would like to petition that the White House to re-evaluate how the separation of church and state is monitored and enforced especially in matters of human rights.
