Re-evaluate the potential of constructing the Superconducting Super Collider (The Desertron).

Created by M.K. on December 19, 2012

The project to construct the world's largest super collider met with financial issues in 1993 and was eventually canceled. Less than two decades later the LHC came online, giving the European scientific community a huge boost. If our Nation is to retain the technological advances which have kept us above the competition, we must increase our investments into scientific endeavors. Such an undertaking will create thousands of jobs and provide the tools our scientists need to make discoveries.
