Corporations no longer need to last indefinitely. Before the corporate boom corporate charters had a limit and the behavior of the modern corporation shows that they have no intent to do anything but abuse their status. Corporations are not meant to be permanent and the current status quo must change.
Eliminating permanent licenses would halt current monopolies and allow for new industry to grow and for new opportunities for both employment and the sharing of wealth. This would also reign in the copious amounts of money being used to lobby against the rights of the american people.
