The under-served families of Kentucky have had their child care assistance taken away as of 2013 unless they met extremely stringent requirements. Single parents are losing their jobs because of child care issues or having to quit because without the assistance it is too expensive. These single parents are working hard and not just using the system. They need your help to continue working and being productive members of society and to show their children how to do the same thing. If single parents cannot go back to school, have a beneficial job, or even hold a job because child-care is holding them back we are not only hurting our generation but the future generation who will remain in the cycle of poverty.
