The "Holiday Tree" (as it has been dubbed this year) is, in actuality, a Christmas Tree, and has been a Christian tradition since the 16th century. By calling this symbol anything other than what it is, it disrespects the traditions of Christians worldwide. Nowhere is it found that a menorah is referred to as a "Holiday Candlestick", nor are any other religious traditions altered to appease the masses. This is a blatant discrimination against religion, and should not be tolerated anywhere, let alone our country's symbol of power and freedom.
