it was legal pre 30,s and unlike alcohol or cigarettes it will not kill you the hemp has many uses fuel, paper,rope ect. and if it were legal you could use the funds wasted trying to stop it to get help for the mentally ill or pay off our debt or somewhere we need the funds more. over 70 years seems to be one war that just can't be won. and there is a good chance if it were legal less people would do it in that way you would win.
