The people all over the United States lost their rights when we lost our housing vouchers for section 8. I was one of those people here in New York I had a housing voucher that was very much needed. I'm a working mother of two children I had a voucher and an apartment ready to move in and then the New York Housing Authority ripped up my voucher and said the government closed the housing section 8 program and I was to go back on the waiting list even though I just signed my lease to move my children into the new home. If we stand together we can ask President Obama to help use get back the program and it will help the housing get back on track because landlords can rent to tenants employment would go up because people would be hired to fix the houses and familes would become more stable.
