in 1994 Mark Berrios was convicted of shooting a well known pedophile named Olen Lee Hepler from Daytona Beach Florida. His subsequent arrest and trial portrayed Mark as simply a teenager robbing and killing a man. This is far from the truth, in fact Hepler was being investigated by local, state and the F.B.I for 5 years prior to this incident. In 1994 I personally sent letters to Sex Crimes Unit and got no response back. At his trial none of the evidence including victims and aquirred evidence by authorities could be used. He basically was given an unfair trial and sentenced to life without parole at 15 years old denying him his civil rights which says Supreme Court ruled you cannot do.
