Re-open the Texas Super Collider

Created by A.B. on January 18, 2013

In the next few months the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland will be going offline for up to 3 years. In the time that the LHC has been operational many advancements have been made in science and technology. With this petition I hope that we can re-open the Texas Super Collider (TSC) to bring America back to the forefront of science and innovation. If it were operational the TSC would be the largest and most powerful super collider in the world, larger and more powerful than the one at CERN. During the time that the LHC will be shut down would be the best time for America to re-open the TSC. This can produce a large number of jobs as well as future revenue from discoveries and new technologies made here in the U.S.
