Whereas the estimated monthly cost to operate the tours is $75,000; Whereas the First Family spent $4 million to travel to Hawaii while Congress was working to avoid sequestration this past winter; Whereas children and their families has invested time, money, and effort to visit Washington DC and visit THEIR White House; WE the undersign request that funding be restored to allow free tours of the White House to continue; AND that the President submit a budget to allow these free tours to continue; AND that the President is to get the budget adopted by the House and the Senate prior to midnight June 30, 2013.
