When you go to the responses tab at the top, and read the response on why the Obama administration does not support the repeal of marijuana prohibition... clearly those reasons also apply to alcohol. Alcohol can be addictive. Alcohol causes cognitive impairment.
Alcohol is actually far worse than marijuana, as alcohol can and does contribute to deaths and serious health problems.
As Americans, let's not be hypocrites, let's be consistent in our treatment of substance use for recreational purposes.
That is why I am petitioning the POTUS to re-criminalize alcohol if he won't decriminalize marijuana use.
