Wholesale electronic spying on Americans clearly violates the Fourth Amendment. The Bill of Rights serves to protect us from the abuse of power by our government, and it cannot be violated, even to prevent deadly terrorist attacks. Snowden deserves your thanks and a pardon for helping you do your job, Mr. President, which is first to uphold the Constitution. A pardon would also get Snowden home from Russia and away from his ex-KGB hosts there.
