Summer vacations are currently based on in the need for kids to help their farmer parents from the early 1900s. This has been proven to hurt students learning since teachers have to waste time re-teaching material every year.
We would like to ask President Obama to restructure student vacations and break it down into smaller breaks throughout the year rather than a single Summer break.
