Re-take Oakland from fear and gun violence. Put our foot down and get that stuff off the radio. No Middle East here.

Frequently, we all hear about a new outbreak or occurence of gun violence in a nearby city. The radio stations pick it up and it becomes like "the right thing to do to talk about it and be brave enough to challenge it or something." Are these cities supposed to be places to buy homes and live in neighborhoods or what? We've heard lately that some bankers like to make sure that plenty of wars get started so they can thrive on the interest from the loans necessary for military equipment and so forth. Well, that's here nor there because I don't know if it is true. I do know however that really I'm sick of hearing radio stations and seeing newspapers give advertising service to thugs and drug dealers. Get tough and do what they've done in the cities where it has been dealt with successfully.
