The WEP MUST BE ELIMINATED OR CHANGED! for example, I am 66 and draw $1568 teachers pension. I am also eligible for $750 Social Security from all the years I worked before i was a teacher. The WEP takes $400 off the top of my Soc. Sec, so I only get $350. I could really use that other $400, as this is all I live on. WEP stands for Windfall Elimination Provision and is archaic and obsolete. PLEASE CHANGE IT NOW!!!
