Many petitions on this website have proposed labeling the WBC as a hate group and removing their tax exempt status. However there is the matter of the first amendment and that no matter how unpopular the opinion may be of the minority, they still have the right to say it.
Instead of taking away any of their rights, I propose we make an attempt to reach out to the members of WBC, especially the young children, and offer them the opportunity to view the world from another perspective through education.
