This petition requests that the US government reach out to the country of Sudan and offer asylum to Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, a doctor, pregnant mother, and wife of a US citizen who is about to be executed for converting to Christianity.
In the interest of Human Rights, religious freedom, and the support of a US citizen living abroad it is vital that the US take firm and decisive action to save this woman's life and provide her with asylum to remover her and her family from further danger.
