Reactivate the Active Duty Military Tuition Assistance Program and increase the yearly cap to $6,000 from $4,500.

Created by J.C. on March 14, 2013

Due to recent changes in Active Duty Military Tuition, many service members have had set backs on degree completion time. Since all degree programs have a set completion deadline date, some service members may need additional tuition assistance in order to increase the number of classes they are taking at one time to meet deadline dates. Since the changes to Military Tuition occurred suddenly, many service members were not able to plan for upcoming semesters/terms which will soon start, resulting in the depletion of non-military tuition assistance resources prematurely in the fiscal year.
