read Naomi Klein's "This Changes Everything".

I cannot think of a more important person to read Klein's book than the President of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama. He must understand that his very own daughters, and so many of their generation, will not have much a world because of man made climate change driven by the greed of our winner-takes-all capitalist system. Things must change and President Obama, the man pushing for the TPP fast track, must understand that his serving big finance dooms his own daughters' future.
