Thomas Jefferson said that "all Men" "are endowed by the Creator with certain unalienable rights" and that these are self-evident Truths. He recognized the "Laws of Nature and of Nature's God". Government should "secure these Rights" and maintain the honest, objective and intellectual conversation with all persons created equally before considering name calling or labeling. Upon the principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is America Declared Independent before a candid world always under Divine Providence. Jefferson also abstained from scrutinizing another's religion. At the same time, DOMA is federal law and should be enforced.
