Currently all American paper bills are the same size and weight which makes it difficult for vision impaired Americans distinguish between denominations.
Many other countries have currency with embossing, holes, or other small details that differ between bills and if the US could install something to that extent it would greatly help blind or vision impaired people trustingly deal in cash.
