Education is a basic human right which cannot be acquired
without good READING skills. School libraries make available
to our children the means to an end.... education. Some children
cannot afford to buy their books for reading and as such in the absence of SCHOOL LIBRARIES, are deprived of their basic human rights; the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, which is l acquired through the process of education, which infers READING.
