Reaffirm the commitment of the United States government, in order to stave off secession movements, for bipartisanship.

Created by J.D. on November 12, 2012

We, the signatories of this petition, hereby request that the executive office of the United States (hereunto, "the President") renew its commitment to working toward bipartisanship for the next four years by publicly addressing both the United States House of Representatives ("the House") and the United States Senate's majority leaders and whips, and in the spirit of bipartisanship, come to common ground so we may bring some cohesiveness back to this great nation.

The President has done the best he possibly can in the past four years, but his detractors believe he hasn't done enough. So, instead of them trying to work together, they wish to secede from this "more perfect Union." Please help stave this posturing on their parts by doing everything possible to bridge the obvious divide.
