Too many politicians today have signed Grover Norquist's pledge to never raise taxes under any circumstances. This is unrealistic, and unhealthy for America.
Our public officials take an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, and that they take this oath freely and without mental reservation.
Mr. Norquist has, by his pledge requirement, assumed the office of kingmaker by forcing candidates to sign in order to be elected, and caused their oath of office to be made in bad faith.
The Constitution of The United States of America is the Law of the Land. Please support it, and repudiate Mr. Norquist and his grab for power.
