No restrictions on weaponry, only laws to keep them out of the hands of the criminals and the mentally ill.
What many Americans believe is that our founding fathers added the 2nd amendment to the constitution because they had the foresight to see 300 years in the future. When the 2nd amendment was established, all our citizens had access to the same weapons as our newly formed government. The second amendment was not a mistake. Americans no longer trust our government. Many of us see a revolutionary war coming within our lifetime. A war between the liberal left/government and the conservative right. How is a citizen going to protect itself against a government that has tanks when all they have are hand guns and rifles? Who will protect us from our Government?
