With so many people petitioning for their states to be granted Independence due to the perceived threats to their Rights and Liberties the President should find middle ground. Large numbers of the People are upset with the policies of the US Government so it is the duty of said government to find a solution without angering one or both sides. Secession in the past led to the bloodiest war this nation has ever known. State's Rights would mean that a state and their people would be able to choose what Health Care system they want and what type of gun laws they want without the central government deciding policies and laws that please the people of one state and anger the people of another. Reaffirming State's Rights could settle the divisions in our nation once and for all.
