We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

For the Real Silent Majority, the non-voter or the voter who do not believe in both candidates.

Created by W.L. on November 10, 2016

This petition is about the real silent majority. Almost 48% of the American population didn't participate in the election due to the dislike of the candidates or how the voting system is being implemented. The 2016 election saw 52% vote, that vote being almost split in half between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, so 26% respectively (sorry 3rd parties). Should we allow low voter turnout and the presidency be represented by less than 1/4 of the American population? This is a serious problem that not even mandatory voting cannot solve but needs to address in the constitution. If the electoral college is a threshold, there also should be a percentage to be reached to become a valid president.
