Don't jump to gun control on a typical knee jerk basis. It's already been told by the news that the guns used Newtown were stolen from his mother he killed and he was too young to own pistols anyways. Plus he had been turned down to purchase a rifle a day or two before the shooting showing the waiting period and current gun control worked. Realize this was the work of a lone whack job, and that taking the guns away from legitimate legal gun owners wouldn't have done a thing in this case. The .223 everyone wants to bring up was in the car, not used inside the school, again, not legally his, not a thing would have been stopped by a gun law in this crime. Step back and take five before writing more laws. The problem in America is societal and moral, not that we don't have enough laws.
