As the United States of America seceded from Great Britain in 1776 by declaration and Great Britain has no jurisdiction over the USA, so the have the states of South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas fully seceded from the USA in 1860-1861 to legally and constitutionally establish the Confederate States of America. Whereas the CSA government never surrendered to the USA, the CSA is legally understood to be a sovereign nation under illegal occupation of the USA government and military. Therefore, citizens of the aforementioned states need only realize that they are already seceded from the Union since 1861.
