Reallocate 8 billion of the 50 million spent in foreign aid for domestic use to hire Vets to protect our schools.

Created by K.M. on December 18, 2012

Annually, the United States spends over 50 billion of foreign aid. We the People propose to reallocate 8 billion USD for domestic use. Namely, employ two military Veterans per school in the US (132,565 schools) at a base salary of $30,000 USD. This would amount to 7.95 billion annually. These Veterans would be licensed with conceal-carry permits, are already trained, and are proven to be proficient. This change in policy would reduce unemployment, secure our schools, and employ Veterans who deserve and desire to work, once again providing a valuable public service.
