Several issues debated today can be solved by a very simple action. Develop and commercialize interplanetary travel. It is well known that the United States does not possess the technological capability to make manned missions to other planets or moons, thus we should work harder to achieve said capability. In order to do this, however, NASA and similar science/engineering entities must have funding to conduct research. This petition calls for a higher allocation of our countries budget to go towards NASA program, thus creating new programs and jobs within NASA, ultimately reaching the goal of reaching the stars.
