Reasonably demand that members of our Congressional body each consume no more than two units of the drug alcohol/day.

Created by M.M. on July 13, 2014

Alcohol is a powerful and addicting toxin. In habitual, excessive consumption, predictable and deleterious changes to brain physiology and personality are unavoidable. It is known that many persons in our Congressional body are addicted, some severely, to this drug. In small quantities, alcohol acts as a nervous system depressant, vascular relaxant, and slightly amnesic agent. However, most persons who consume this drug daily, rarely, abstain from the second, third, fourth, fifth, or more drinks in a 24 hour period. Persons in alcohol withdrawal are irrational, hypersensitive, inefficient, and have a tendency to blame others around them for their mistakes and confusion. How much of the DO NOTHING Congress misused energies, inefficiencies and combativeness are due to overuse of this drug?
