A petition to re-assert that marriage is a one man, one woman institution only. To reassert that all partnerships are not created equally. To show that the same sex can still enter into marriage agreements on their own, can still own property, can still purchase insurance individually, and still have all the rights entitled to every other person without being granted special privileges. Special benefits and privileges to married couples where child birth can naturally occur are there to encourage families and to help children and youth. Many of those privileges are provided upon dependency, such as declaring a child a dependent on a tax form.
