Reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act or create more effective programs like it.

Created by H.F. on January 09, 2013

The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) has worked toward the protection of women, allowing resources and grants for helping victims and prosecuting offenders since 1994. This year it has not been renewed. Discrimination and political agendas should not take precedence over protection and provision for women who are victims of violence and domestic abuse, an injustice experienced by over 1 in 4 women in America today according to the NNEDV.
