It was the stuff of dreams: what might we find out there? What might we learn about the 'pale blue marble' that we call home -- and more importantly, what might we discover about ourselves?
45 years ago, we landed on the moon, and challenged ourselves to see beyond our small world and its artificial borders.
45 years ago, we dipped our toes in the vast cosmic ocean and then came right back home.
It's time to go back. Give NASA its budget back, so we can all dream again.
