The people of Detroit Michigan need the Federal Government to aid in its rebuilding. Abandoned homes need to be destroyed. Developers need incentives to build new homes in the area's affected, which should include increased funding for low income housing. The builders should also get more incentives if they hire local residents of Detroit and those who are out of work from other communities first. The aid should be monitored and audited to prevent misappropriations of funds. These shovel ready jobs should include repairing roads. The government should give funding to increase the size of the police, ambulance and fire dept's. The funds should include more vehicles and technology. Doubling the amount of Police Officers and EMS would decrease crime and save lives. The people deserve better
