Use the resources at your disposal to re-establish Merrill C. Meigs Field on Northerly Island in Chicago, Illinois. The airfield should also be designated a historical landmark.
The airfield was a treasured destination to the General Aviation community and an iconic landmark amid the infamous Chicago skyline.
Meigs Field was shuttered illegally in 2003 when former Mayor Daley had the runway bulldozed overnight.
The airport would provide more to the economy and history of Chicago than the nature park that has taken over a decade to develop and has yet to be completed.
