Recall the citizens united act. The first amendment is there to protect the people, not corporations!

Created by E.M. on February 06, 2014

The Supreme Court has ruled that corporations are allowed to give an undisclosed amount of money to a person running for government. This ruling is under the citizens untied act (2010). What this basically does is allows the richest corporations to now purchase elections to get their agenda passed, disregarding the need of the people. This is more unconstitutional than denying corporations their "right to free speech". The right to free speech lies within individuals, not corporations and the two should not be viewed the same.
