A former Stanford University student was tried and convicted on 3 counts of sexual assault,upon a female student at a party and other offenses. Justice Aaron Persky did not even take into consideration the minimum sentence of 2 years ,in this case, and sentenced the rapist to 6 months in county jail. The judge decided that the rapist's success in life was more important than the trauma that the VICTIM has to live with for the rest of her's!
