Recall Nissan CVT

Created by L.W. on February 22, 2014

Despite numerous complaints to Nissan and the NHTSA about Nissan's CVT, in multiple vehicle models, over at least the last 7 years, neither Nissan nor the NHTSA has initiated a recall of these dangerous, unreliable transmissions. Nissan service shops claim to be unable to fix these transmissions because they can't reproduce the problems or can't find any record of them on the computer, or they outright refuse to even make appointments to service these transmissions. We request a national recall of all Nissan CVTs, to be replaced with normal automatic transmissions or similar redress.
